Brain Farm tackled a serious challenge helping to design the first ever Phantom 3D stereo rig for the shooting of Paramount Pictures, Jackass 3D. We spent 3 months working closely with Paradise FX to figure out a way to build one of the first 3D camera systems that could capture over 1000 frames per second. After a long and rigorous challenge we pulled it off and helped make the Jackass 3D film what it is today. Brain Farm’s, Curt Morgan worked closely with Spike Jonze to make sure the images were nothing but perfect. We helped to shoot the intro and the closing scenes as well as many other locations and sets throughout the film.
